49ER RV Ranch

49er RV Ranch traces its roots to 1852, when the property operated as the Columbia Springs Dairy Ranch and began trading camping space for worn-out trail cattle during the Gold Rush, making it one of the oldest campgrounds in California. Today it's a full-hookup RV park with sites for rigs from 24 to 45 feet, half a mile from Columbia State Historic Park. On-site amenities include hot showers, a laundry facility, a camp store, and propane and ice sales, along with gold-panning demonstrations that nod to the property's history. Its location next to Columbia's preserved Gold Rush-era town makes it a themed stop for riders touring Highway 49 and the Sierra foothills.
