Acton/Los Angeles North KOA sits in Soledad Canyon along the Santa Clara River, between Santa Clarita and Palmdale, about an hour's ride from downtown Los Angeles. Camping options span tent sites, large pull-through RV sites, rental cabins, and a large camping teepee, with the Pacific Crest Trail running through the surrounding area. On-site amenities include an outdoor pool, hot tubs, a playground, a clubhouse, and a store carrying food and camping supplies. It works as a convenient basecamp for riders working the canyon roads north of Los Angeles.
