Anchor Bay Campground
35400 S Highway 1, Gualala, CA
Anchor Bay Campground is a small, six-acre, privately owned campground directly on the Pacific Ocean along Highway One in Mendocino County, in operation since 1925. It has 27 total sites — 15 for RVs and 12 for tents — with a mix of water-only, electric-and-water and full-hookup options.
Coin-operated hot showers, a septic dump station and a shared recreation area with picnic tables round out the facilities. Its Highway One location makes it a stop along one of California's classic coastal riding routes, with reservations accepted up to a year in advance.
