Azalea Campground
Wilsonia, CA
Azalea Campground is a National Park Service campground in the Grant Grove area of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, about 3.5 miles from the Kings Canyon park entrance at roughly 6,500 feet elevation. It's the largest of the Grant Grove campgrounds, with 110 sites, each holding a picnic table, fire ring, and a food storage box for bear safety.
The campground has flush toilets and potable water, and each site can hold one to six people. It runs on a reservation system in late spring through early fall, shifting to a smaller set of first-come, first-served sites paid through the Recreation.gov scan-and-pay app in the off-season. Grant Grove Village, with a visitor center, restaurant, store, and post office, is a short drive away.
