Beals Point Campground is part of Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, run by California State Parks, just north of Folsom Dam in the Sierra Nevada foothills about 25 miles east of Sacramento. It's the most-used campground on the lake, with 69 sites split between electric and non-electric sections, plus drinking water, flush restrooms with hot showers, a dump station, and a day-use picnic area.
The campground operates year-round and sits along the lake's west shore, with boating, fishing, hiking, and biking all available nearby, making it a reasonable overnight stop for riders exploring the Sacramento-area foothills.
