Belknap Campground

Belknap Campground is a small U.S. Forest Service site in Sequoia National Forest, about 19 miles east of Springville, California, reached via State Highway 190 through the community of Camp Nelson. It sits at 4,800 feet elevation with 15 single-family sites, vault toilets, potable water, tables, and BBQ stoves; a campfire permit is required for any fire, stove, or barbecue use. No trailers or RVs are allowed here, so it's a tent-only stop. Belknap Creek runs through the campground and the Middle Fork of the Tule River is within walking distance, with supplies available two miles away in Camp Nelson and Pierpoint Springs; it's typically open from mid-April through October.
