Big Lagoon State Park is located on the northern shore of Big Lagoon, separating the mainland from Perdido Key. The campground offers 75 sites equipped with water and 30/50-amp electrical service, providing a scenic home base for riders exploring the Florida Panhandle and the Gulf Coast.
The park is a major stop on the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail and features a three-story observation tower with panoramic views of the salt marshes and the Gulf of Mexico. Riders can enjoy the 2.5-mile paved main park drive or explore the five miles of hiking trails and boardwalks that weave through the native pine flatwoods.
Conveniently located off Gulf Beach Highway, the park is minutes away from the white-sand beaches of Perdido Key and the historic attractions of Pensacola. On-site amenities include three modern restrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station, making it a practical stop for long-distance touring.
