Owned and operated by the Community of Christ, this private campground is located approximately 40 miles north of Pensacola. The property spans over 500 acres of secluded woodland and fields, offering a peaceful environment for relaxation and outdoor activities. On-site features include two man-made lakes—one for swimming and one for fishing—as well as a sand volleyball court.
The grounds provide access to Canoe Creek, which flows through the property before joining the Escambia River. Unlike more primitive sites in the surrounding water management districts, this location offers modern conveniences such as a central bathhouse with restrooms and hot showers. While frequently used for church retreats and youth camps, the facility is available to the public for family camping via reservation.
