The campground sits among high grasslands, oak woodland, and conifer forest, with the Dutch John and Bog Springs trailheads starting on site. The campground has 12 sites with picnic tables, fire rings with grills, bear boxes, drinking water, and vault toilets. There are no RV hookups, though sites are large enough for RVs, and day use runs $8 per vehicle per day.
