Bonito Campground

Bonito Campground is a U.S. Forest Service campground about 12 miles northeast of Flagstaff, Arizona on US Highway 89, directly across from Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. The 44-site campground sits under ponderosa pines on volcanic terrain, with trails leading to O'Leary Peak and easy access to Wupatki National Monument.
Sites accommodate RVs up to 42 feet and include concrete picnic tables, fire rings, and grills, with paved roads, drinking water, and flush toilets. Roughly half the sites can be reserved in advance, while the rest are first-come, first-served.
