Borax Bill Park & Station

Borax Bill Park & Station is a city-run OHV recreation park in California City established in 2008, covering roughly 4,500 acres of open desert riding at about 2,450 feet elevation. The park has power and water hookup campsites, showers, restrooms, a visitor center, and a first aid station, with dry camping available free on a first-come, first-served basis and hookup sites running about $25 a day. California City has been an OHV riding destination since the 1960s, and the park draws large numbers of off-highway riders every year. It functions primarily as a base for off-highway vehicle use in the High Desert rather than a general roadside campground.
