Brown's Owens River Campground

Brown's Owens River Campground is a privately run campground at 6766 Benton Crossing Road near Mammoth Lakes, five miles east of US-395 off Benton Crossing Road, set in the meadow along the upper Owens River. It is one of the properties operated by the Brown's Campgrounds family business, which also runs sites near Bishop, and offers around 75 to 80 RV and tent sites, plus trailer rentals. On-site amenities include hot showers, a camp store, a small cafe, ice, and fishing tackle, reflecting the campground's reputation as a fly-fishing destination on the upper Owens. Riverfront sites run about $45 a night and standard sites about $40, and the open meadow setting is known for wide Eastern Sierra sunset views.
