Burlington Campground

Burlington Campground sits inside Humboldt Redwoods State Park directly on the Avenue of the Giants, about two miles south of Weott in Northern California's redwood country. The campground has 57 sites for tents and RVs up to 24 feet, each with a fire ring and picnic table, plus bear-proof food boxes, restrooms with running water, and a dump station for RV guests; sites run about $35 a night and reservations are recommended. The campground sits next to the Burlington Visitor Center, home to a small museum, a park store, and ranger-led programs, making it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding old-growth redwoods. Riders working through Humboldt County on the Avenue of the Giants can pull directly off the scenic route into shaded, forested sites, with river-access trails nearby and Weott's services just up the road.
