Burnt Corral Campground

Burnt Corral Campground is a Tonto National Forest campground on the shore of Apache Lake near Roosevelt, Arizona, reached via a dirt section of the Apache Trail (AZ Highway 88) south of Roosevelt Dam. The campground has 76 camp units, each with a parking spur, fire ring, shade ramada, and picnic table, plus vault toilets, potable water, and a paved boat launch. The lake setting amid saguaro, mesquite, and palo verde supports boating, fishing, swimming, and paddlesports, with sites running $20 to $40 a night and some offering water hookups for RVs up to 32 feet. The Forest Service warns that the access road demands caution, particularly for anyone towing a trailer.
