Camp Glen

Glen Camp is one of four backcountry campgrounds inside Point Reyes National Seashore, tucked into a wooded valley that is sheltered from the coastal wind off the Pacific. It is reached only on foot, by a roughly five-mile route from the Bear Valley Visitor Center near Olema that follows the flat Bear Valley Trail before climbing about a mile and a half up the Glen Trail. Twelve individual sites are spread through the trees, each with a picnic table, a charcoal grill, and a bear-proof food locker.
A National Park Service reservation is required before arriving, and the campground has vault toilets and potable water at a central area, though wood fires and overnight stock animals are not permitted. No vehicle can reach the campsites themselves, so a rider passing through West Marin would need to leave a motorcycle at the Bear Valley trailhead and hike the trail in on foot; the campground works better as a hiking side trip on a longer coastal ride than as a direct overnight stop.
