Camp Harkness

Camp Harkness is a 102-acre state park located on the shores of Long Island Sound in Waterford, Connecticut. Managed by the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services, the park was deeded to the state in 1952 and is designed for people with disabilities and their families and friends. The facility features cabins, cottages, and tent sites available year-round with seasonal programs. The park offers a range of amenities including a beach with seasonal boardwalk, accessible playscape, horseback riding, barnyard animals, and scenic walking paths.
