Carnegie Ohv State Recreation Area

Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area, mailed from 15751 Tesla Road in Livermore, is one of eight off-highway-vehicle parks run by California State Parks, spread across more than 1,300 acres of hills straddling eastern Alameda and western San Joaquin counties. The terrain ranges from dry rocky washes and rolling hills to steep, rugged canyons, drawing OHV riders of all skill levels to its trails. The park offers 23 first-come, first-served campsites with picnic tables, potable water, flush toilets, showers and shaded ramadas, and campers need a free ReserveCalifornia.com profile at check-in.
