CE-Rated Armor
CE-rated armor is motorcycle impact protection tested against a European standard, fitted at shoulders, elbows, knees, and back.

CE-rated armor is impact protection — at the shoulders, elbows, knees, hips, or back — that has been tested against a European standard for motorcycle protective equipment, with rating levels indicating impact performance. Two things riders miss: a jacket can be sold with empty armor pockets, and back protectors are often an extra purchase. Check what is actually in the garment, and check the specific standard and level marked on each protector rather than assuming.
