Chez Alcatraz

Located on the wooden docks of Fisherman’s Wharf, Chez Alcatraz is an open-air watering hole that captures the spirit of a coastal marina. Following a 2024 refurbishment, the bar features updated blue tilework and white stone counters while maintaining its tribute to the park's maritime history. It serves as a popular resting point for those navigating the park, offering a relaxed waterfront atmosphere. The bar is most famous for being the home of "Bruce," the massive great white shark replica from the classic Jaws attraction, which hangs suspended right next door. It is also the only place to order the iconic Ocean Attack, a blue rum-based cocktail that comes with a signature interactive performance from the bartenders. Beyond specialty drinks, visitors can find a variety of draft beers, canned selections, and wine. Its central location near the lagoon makes it an ideal spot for a quick break and a photo before heading toward the London waterfront or other park attractions.
