What is a chopper? A chopper is a heavily customized motorcycle with an extended, raked-out front end, a stretched frame, and bodywork cut back to almost nothing. Everything about the build serves the look. The geometry that gives a chopper its profile also makes it steer slowly and turn wide, so choppers are show-and-cruise machines rather than canyon bikes.
