Chupacabra Cantina

Chupacabra Cantina has anchored a corner of East Sixth Street since 2009, serving homemade Tex-Mex built around tacos, enchiladas, and a cabrito burger alongside migas and breakfast tacos served all day. The kitchen also runs a late-night menu until 1:30am, which keeps it in rotation after the dinner crowd on Sixth Street thins out. The bar pours ten flavors of frozen margaritas and stocks more than 50 tequilas, and the space includes a patio and an eclectic collection of vintage vinyl that plays alongside the live music and DJ sets at night. It's a Tex-Mex stop that doubles as a nightlife spot rather than a straightforward sit-down restaurant.
