Cleone Campground

Cleone Campground is the group camping area inside MacKerricher State Park, a coastal California State Parks unit about three miles north of Fort Bragg along Highway 1. The park covers more than 2,400 acres of beach, dunes, headland, and forest along eight miles of shoreline, including tide pools and a seal-watching station at Laguna Point.
Cleone splits into two tent-only group sites, a larger East area for 9 to 60 people and a smaller West area for 9 to 40, each with fire rings, picnic tables, and food lockers. It runs seasonally from mid-June through early September with reservations through ReserveCalifornia, and gives riders running the Mendocino coast on Highway 1 access to the historic Haul Road trail and Laguna Point's harbor seal viewing.
