Coastal Dunes RV Park and Campground is a San Luis Obispo County Parks-operated campground on Highway 1 in Oceano, managed by the county since October 2006. It offers back-in sites with full hookups, water, 30-amp electric, sewer, cable, a picnic table and fire pit at each site, with two units allowed per campsite.
The park sits close enough to the coast to reach the beach easily, and on-site extras include a heated pool, picnic and grilling areas and a game room. Pismo's dunes are about a three-minute drive or a 23-minute walk away, with swimming, surfing, fishing and bird-watching all nearby, and Oceano Dunes further along for off-highway riding.
