Codorniz Campground is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground on the shores of Eastman Lake in the Sierra foothills near Raymond. It has about 75 single-family sites, roughly half standard sites with no hookups and half with water and electric hookups, plus clean restrooms and showers at no extra charge.
The lake supports boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and swimming, and the surrounding foothills draw wildlife including bobcats, golden eagles and hawks, with hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding also available in the area. Nightly fees run around $20, and reservations go through Recreation.gov.
