Coldbrook Campground

Coldbrook Campground is a small U.S. Forest Service campground on Coldbrook Creek in the Angeles National Forest, about 18 miles up Route 39 from Azusa in the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument. It has 20 first-come-first-served sites for tents or RVs up to 22 feet, with fire rings, charcoal grills, picnic tables, vault toilets and drinking water, at $12 a night.
Set in mixed riparian woodland at about 3,300 feet along the North Fork San Gabriel River drainage, the campground stays open year-round and makes a quiet stop for riders working the Angeles Crest and San Gabriel Canyon roads. Leashed pets are permitted.
