Concerned Bikers Association/ABATE of North Carolina
Apex, NC, NC
State motorcyclist rights organization founded in 1971 that advocates for rider interests and promotes motorcycle safety and awareness across North Carolina.
Concerned Bikers Association (CBA)/ABATE of North Carolina has served North Carolina's motorcycling community since 1971 as the premier state motorcycle rights organization. The organization is dedicated to advocating against unfair legislation targeting riders while promoting motorcycle safety, awareness, and education through its Motorcycle Safety Awareness Program (MSAP). CBA/ABATE has successfully worked to ensure that all North Carolina high school driver education students receive one hour of motorcycle safety and awareness training.
Operating through local chapters across the state, the organization combines legislative advocacy with community engagement and rider education initiatives. CBA/ABATE works to improve public perception of motorcyclists and maintains an active role in defending riders' rights and freedoms in state policy.
