Costa Vista RV Resort, at 825 E Street in Chula Vista, now operates under the Sun Outdoors brand as Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay. It opened in May 2021 on Chula Vista's bayfront as a newer property in the area, with 197 standard, deluxe and premium RV sites plus 49 furnished cottage-style vacation rentals of about 400 square feet each. A rider passing through San Diego Bay will find resort-grade amenities here rather than a bare-bones overnight stop: a pool with cabanas, hot tubs, a splash pad, pickleball and basketball courts, an arcade and an on-site cantina, with the property also welcoming dogs.
