Crowley Lake Campland
Mammoth Lakes, CA
Crowley Lake Campground is a Bureau of Land Management campground off U.S. 395 about 12 miles south of Mammoth Lakes, California, set at roughly 6,700 feet in the high desert basin above Crowley Lake. The campground has 47 tent and RV sites, each with a fire pit, picnic table, and lantern holder, though there are no hookups.
Potable water is available on site, and the modest nightly fee makes it one of the more affordable stops in the Eastern Sierra. The setting offers open views of Crowley Lake, the Glass Mountains, and McGee Mountain, and the campground is popular with anglers, boaters, and riders using U.S. 395 as a north-south corridor through the Sierra.
