Cuneo Creek Horse Camp

Cuneo Creek Horse Camp is a California State Parks campground in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, on Mattole Road about eight miles west of the Avenue of the Giants near Weott, California. Built on a former homestead, the camp has five family sites and two group camps, open from May through September. Facilities include picnic tables, fire rings, bear-proof food lockers, flush toilets, coin-operated showers, and horse-specific setups such as metal pipe corrals, water troughs, and a sand rolling pit. Reservations run through Reserve California up to six months ahead, and the site works as a redwoods-country stop for travelers as well as equestrians.
