Dan River Campground is a family-owned and operated campground spanning 44 acres along the banks of the Dan River in Stoneville. The property offers a range of camping options to suit different needs: RV sites with full hookups including water, 30/50 amp electric, and sewer service; RV sites with partial hookups providing water and 30 amp electric without sewer; tent sites with partial hookups; primitive tent sites; and a large group area accommodating scouts and organized groups. The campground maintains a spotless bathhouse with laundry facilities, security gate entrance, and fast WiFi access throughout. Recreation opportunities include a swimming pool open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, hiking trails throughout the grounds, a designated dog run area, and direct river access for water activities. The campground offers guided kayaking, canoeing, and tubing on the Dan River with shuttle service that allows approximately two-hour float trips directly back to the campground.
