Deep Creek Hot Springs Camp

Deep Creek Hot Springs Campground at the Bowen Ranch is a privately run campground at 5900 Bowen Ranch Road in Apple Valley that provides the main vehicle access point to the natural Deep Creek Hot Springs. The ranch is reached by about six miles of rough but 4WD-not-required dirt road, and it welcomes tents, RVs, and travel trailers of any size in two camping areas; no reservation is required. Access costs $10 for a day pass or $20 to camp overnight, with the gate generally staffed during daylight hours. The actual hot springs sit about 1.75 miles away in Deep Creek Canyon, roughly a 40-minute hike from camp, so a rider should plan on a hike-in visit rather than riding directly to the springs.
