Dive Bar Austin

Dive Bar is a neighborhood bar on Guadalupe Street just south of the University of Texas campus, a short walk from the state Capitol, and has been operating under that name since 2011. The drink menu runs to cocktails, a sizable whiskey and spirits selection, rotating craft and local beer, wine, and bar snacks. The renovated beer garden patio gives it a more relaxed, unpretentious setting than the name might suggest, making it a workable spot for unwinding after a ride through campus or downtown. It keeps late hours most nights, running until 2 a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays.
