Dos Picos County Park is a San Diego County park and campground in Ramona, California, named for the two peaks that rise near the site. The campground has 72 campsites, 57 of them with water and electric hookups, plus six rustic cabins and a dedicated youth group site. Amenities include potable water, flush toilets, coin-operated showers, an RV dump station, a playground, three picnic areas, a fishing pond, and nature trails.
Day-use hours run from 9:30 a.m. to sunset, while camping is available around the clock, and the park's oak-shaded grounds and fishing pond make it a popular weekend stop for both families and travelers passing through the East County backcountry near Ramona and Julian. Reservations are recommended, particularly on weekends, and are handled through the San Diego County Parks reservation line. The park charges nightly camping fees plus a separate reservation fee.
