Edge Rooftop is a rooftop bar and lounge on the fifth floor of the JW Marriott in downtown Austin, reached by the hotel's public elevators past the spa and pool deck. The draw is the view: an elevated terrace looking down Congress Avenue toward the Texas Capitol, with Lady Bird Lake visible from the same deck, paired with a menu of craft cocktails and small plates. The bar runs live music on the terrace Thursday evenings and a weekday happy hour, and it's open seven nights a week. Its downtown location puts it within walking distance of the Capitol and the lake, making it a workable stop for riders staying or passing through central Austin.
