Fairing

What is a fairing? A fairing is the bodywork around the front and sides of a motorcycle that pushes air around the rider instead of into them. Less wind pressure means less fatigue, which is most of why long-distance bikes have one. Fairings are either frame-mounted, so they stay put while the bars turn, or fork-mounted, so they turn with the front end — a difference riders notice most in crosswinds.
