Figueroa Campground
Figueroa Mountain Rd, Los Olivos, CA
Figueroa Campground sits in Los Padres National Forest about 12.5 miles up Figueroa Mountain Road from Los Olivos, on the flank of Figueroa Mountain in the Santa Ynez range. The 35 sites each have a fire ring, pedestal barbecue, and picnic table, with hard-packed soil and three double-vault, wheelchair-accessible restrooms; sites can fit rigs up to about 25 feet, though there are no hookups.
No potable water is available, so campers need to bring their own along with firewood, and the road past the campground narrows and steepens considerably, so a capable vehicle matters for anyone continuing further up the mountain. The campground is a popular base for the Davy Brown and Ballard trailheads and is especially known for spring wildflower displays on Figueroa Mountain.
