Fisherman's Bend

Fisherman's Bend is a small, privately operated campground on River Road in Newman, set along the San Joaquin River on the southern edge of the Delta country. The park has 38 pull-through, full-hookup RV sites plus 20 tent-only sites, with drinking water, showers, a dump station, coin laundry, a boat ramp, and a fish-cleaning station on the property. Most of the park's sites are held by seasonal or long-term renters, but roughly ten sites are typically kept open for overnight campers passing through. The river draws catfish anglers on summer evenings, and the property also has a playground and seasonal swimming pool, making it a workable overnight stop for riders following the San Joaquin River corridor between Newman and Gustine.
