Floorboards

What are floorboards? Floorboards are flat platforms fitted in place of footpegs, so the rider can move their feet around during a long ride rather than holding one position. They are standard on many cruisers and touring bikes and are usually paired with a heel-toe shifter. The trade-off is ground clearance: boards touch down earlier in a corner than pegs do, and that scrape is your lean-angle warning.
