Forks Campground is a U.S. Forest Service campground on the west shore of Bass Lake in the Sierra National Forest, at about 3,400 feet elevation near Bass Lake, California. It has 27 campsites in a pine forest setting, three of them tent-only, with the rest accommodating RVs, trailers, and tents, each with a picnic table, pedestal grill, stone fire ring, and paved parking spur.
The campground runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and takes reservations up to six months in advance through Recreation.gov, with flush toilets and drinking water on site. Four-mile-long Bass Lake nearby offers fishing, boating, waterskiing, and hiking, making Forks a seasonal mountain stop for travelers touring the Sierra National Forest around Bass Lake.
