Frogtown RV Park and Calaveras
2465 Gun Club Rd, Angels Camp, CA
Frogtown RV Park shares its grounds with the Calaveras County Fairgrounds in Angels Camp, California, home to the long-running Jumping Frog Jubilee held every May. The self-service campground sits among the rolling oak hills of the Sierra foothills and takes its nickname from a small frog pond on the property, a nod to the county's famous frog-jumping tradition.
Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis outside of major fairground events such as the county fair, with full hookups for water, power, and sewer at each pull-through space. The fairgrounds location puts travelers close to Angels Camp's gold-rush-era downtown and the winding roads of Highways 4 and 49 through Calaveras County.
