Furnace Creek Campground

Furnace Creek Campground is the National Park Service's main developed campground at Furnace Creek in Death Valley National Park, sitting below sea level in the heart of the park's visitor hub. It offers 136 sites, including tent-only and RV spaces, with drinking water, picnic tables, flush toilets, and a dump station, and it is the only campground in Death Valley that takes reservations. Reservations run through Recreation.gov for the cooler camping season from mid-October through mid-April, while the campground drops to a smaller first-come, first-served capacity during the hot summer months. Its location near the Furnace Creek Visitor Center makes it a natural base for riders exploring Badwater Basin, Artists Drive, and the rest of the park's desert roads.
