Galveston Island Brewing
8423 Stewart Rd, Galveston, TX
Galveston Island Brewing is a craft brewery on Stewart Road on the west end of Galveston Island, founded in 2014 by Mark and Liesel DellOsso and located about a block from the beach. All of its beers are brewed on site, including its flagship Tiki Wheat and a year-round IPA called Citra Mellow, served across an eighteen-tap wall in the taproom.
For a rider working the west end of the island, the brewery is a straightforward stop for a beer flight and a break off Stewart Road, with an outdoor yard area that welcomes dogs on a leash. It runs free brewery tours on Saturdays and stays open nearly every day of the year, closing only for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
