Ghost Mountain Ranch

Ghost Mountain Ranch is a 325-acre campground and resort at 5560 Badger Hill Rd in Pollock Pines, California, about 90 minutes from Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. The property once served as a set for the television series The Virginian and still features a vintage ghost-town streetscape with a saloon, ice cream parlor, and general store alongside more than 200 campsites. Sites range from full hookups to shaded tent spots, and the ranch also rents cabins and a full-size ranch house for larger groups. On-site amenities include a store, hiking trails, fishing, a swimming pool, and a recreation hall, making it a destination stop rather than just a place to park for the night.
