Gold Rock Ranch is a 155-acre desert campground near Winterhaven, CA, established in 1936 on the site of the historic TUMCO Gold Mine, a California Registered Historic Landmark. The property offers full-service RV spaces with 30 and 50-amp electrical hookups, cottages, tent sites, restrooms and showers, a trading post, and legal access to miles of off-highway-vehicle trails plus a dedicated OHV staging area.
Other on-site features include a rock garden, a desert golf course, and archery, and the location puts travelers close to the Imperial Sand Dunes and the Colorado River. It functions as both a base for OHV riders and a stop for travelers exploring the far southeastern California desert.
