Green Valley Campground
33800 Green Valley Lake Rd, Green Valley Lake, CA
Green Valley Campground sits at about 7,200 feet elevation in the San Bernardino National Forest near Arrowbear, California, roughly a mile from Green Valley Lake, which is known for trout fishing, pedal boat rentals, and summer swimming. The 37-site campground is set among pine, fir, and cedar trees with open meadow patches, and offers a campfire ring, picnic table, flush toilets, and drinking water at each site, though there are no showers or RV hookups.
Eleven sites are first-come, first-served, while the remaining 26 can be reserved through Recreation.gov, with nightly fees between $25 and $56. The campground is typically open from mid-April through the end of October, and its proximity to Green Valley Lake and San Bernardino National Forest trails makes it a popular mountain base for hiking and fishing.
