Half Step

Half Step is a craft cocktail bar on Rainey Street in downtown Austin, built inside a converted house with an indoor bar and stage plus a large outdoor patio. The patio adds a second bar, a stage for live music, and food trucks, giving it more room to spread out than most of the bars packed along the Rainey Street strip. The bar leans on modern takes on classic cocktails and mezcal driven drinks, with regular live music including a recurring Sunday night set. For a rider parking downtown, it sits within walking distance of the rest of the Rainey Street bar row at the south end of the Austin core.
