Hawk's Nest RV & Cabin Park sits on eight acres of high desert and ponderosa pine at 200 County Road 97A in Tulelake, along the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway that leads to Medicine Lake and Lava Beds National Monument. The park offers 22 RV sites with hookup options, 12 tent sites, and 10 cabins converted from early-1900s Long Bell Railroad camp buildings, updated inside while keeping their historic exteriors.
On-site amenities include a camp store, restrooms and showers, coin laundry, and a playground. The location gives travelers direct access to the lava tube caves of Lava Beds National Monument, the obsidian flows of Glass Mountain, paddling and fishing at Medicine Lake, and birdwatching at Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge, making it a natural basecamp for riders exploring the region's volcanic backroads.
