Hiouchi RV Resort

The RV resort at 2000 US Highway 199 near Crescent City, California, sits in the heart of Redwood National and State Parks, about nine miles east of town and less than a mile from Jedediah Smith Redwoods and the Smith River. Long known as Hiouchi RV Resort, the property is now under new ownership and operates as Redwood Meadows RV Resort, with roughly 125 RV sites, about a dozen tent sites, a yurt, and a few tiny houses for rent. Sites offer electric, water, and sewer hookups plus a dump station, and the grounds include open green space and pickleball courts. The Hiouchi Cafe sits across the highway, and the location puts riders close to the redwood corridor along Highway 199 between Crescent City and the Oregon border.
