Holcomb Valley Ranch is a 400-acre private ranch in the San Bernardino Mountains near Big Bear Lake, California, surrounded by national forest land and reached via the unpaved Polique Canyon Road. The ranch offers RV camping, tent sites, and glamping with no hookups but plenty of open room for rigs to spread out, along with bathrooms, showers, and an industrial kitchen available to campers. Beyond regular camping, the ranch's rustic buildings and open landscape also draw film and photo production crews, who rent the property separately for location shoots. For riders, it's a quiet off-grid basecamp about 15 minutes from Big Bear Lake and 25 minutes from the Big Bear ski areas, with mountain roads leading straight into town for fuel and supplies.
