Honeymoon Flats Campground

Honeymoon Flat Campground is a Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest campground on Robinson Creek along Twin Lakes Road, about 8 miles from Bridgeport, California, in Mono County. The campground sits at 7,000 feet among aspens and Jeffrey pines, split into two loops on either side of the road, with picnic tables, food storage lockers, fire rings with grills, vault toilets, and drinking water at each site. Upper and Lower Twin Lakes are about two miles away with a boat ramp, and the creek and lakes draw anglers for rainbow trout, brown trout, and kokanee salmon. The campground makes a good base for riders working the Highway 395 corridor through the Eastern Sierra, with Bridgeport's fuel and services a short ride down Twin Lakes Road.
